Delicious cakes, luscious preserves ...

I bake everything myself, to order, in my own kitchen. I make preserves in small batches, using seasonal fruit and vegetables, organic and locally grown if possible. I use only the finest ingredients, organic wherever possible, in my cakes; like the dark organic chocolate in my brownies and chocolate cakes, and organic, unrefined cane sugar.

For my Christmas Cakes and Iced Wedding Cakes, I use Lübecker organic marzipan. It's lightly sweetened, made with 52% organic almonds. That's a higher almond to sugar ratio than any other marzipan you can buy – simply the best marzipan in the world.

I don’t use artificial additives or flavours; just good, wholesome ingredients. So I hope you’ll try one of my cakes and taste the difference for yourself! And I can cater for most food allergies: if you have any other dietary requirements, do let me know.

How it all started ...

For years, my husband struggled with so-called 'IBS'. Finally, we worked out that when he cut wheat and gluten out of his diet, his symptoms improved dramatically. Since then, I’ve worked hard on ways of creating delicious cakes we can all enjoy. I’ve worked out a special blend of gluten-free flours that I’m really happy with, and all my cakes are wheat- and gluten-free. They have a fine texture and are light and delicate in the mouth; in fact, I think they taste a whole lot better than cakes made with wheat.

I'm absolutely thrilled with these awards, because great taste is what I'm most passionate about.

At the 2018 FreeFrom Food Awards, my Sugar-free Chocolate & Almond Cake was awarded Bronze. In 2017, my Vegan Carrot & Coconut Cake won Silver, and my Reine de Saba Bronze. And in 2015, my Luxury Jamaica Christmas Cake was 'Highly commended' and my Chocolate & Olive Oil Cake 'Commended'.

My cakes and I feature in the December 2012 issue of the Telegraph Magazine. Food Editor Carolyn Hart absolutely adores my cakes (Thank you, Carolyn)!

Delivery & postage

Many of my cakes, and all my preserves, can be posted to addresses in the UK (delivered by Royal Mail Signed For or Special Delivery, or Parcel Force) or abroad.
